#Empties / January 2017

I know its super late, but here are my empties from last month. I've got a ton to go through, so I'll keep this intro incredibly short. I think in the future I'm going to change these up, but for now let's get to it. I'll be discussing everything in the following order: masks, skincare, body care, hair care and makeup/miscellaneous. Additionally, I will note which samples I'll have more thorough reviews on in the future. So if you've got your beverage/snack ready, let's hit the jump!

As you can tell, I ended up using quite a few masks this month. My skin was doing something crazy and I really needed to tackle how dry it was. PS - I found the culprit and it will be featured in  my February Faves (& Fails) post. I'll just go off and list these now:

TONYMOLY Pearl I'm Real Luminating Mask Sheet // I've been hanging on to this mask and decided to use it finally. I have to say, this is the one mask where I noticed such a huge difference! My skin looked like it was literally sparkling. I can't wait to splurge and buy a ton. I would imagine these are great before a big event or interview! Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Lemon I'm Real Brightening Mask Sheet // You all know by now that this is my favorite mask if I need to fade scars. I live and die by this mask. Also, I just love the scent. Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Avocado I'm Real Nutrition Mask Sheet // I liked this, but I don't know that I noticed any difference in my skin with it. I loved the scent and really would only use this mask to relax. Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Red Wine I'm Real Pore Care Mask Sheet // If enlarged pores are your concern, this is the mask for you. I liked this, but I think my issue is more concentrated on my nose and therefore would benefit more from a mask or product that specifically targets that area. Would definitely recommend though! Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Tomato I'm Real Radiance Mask Sheet // My second favorite I'm Real mask. I love this and really do think it helps make the skin look lively. Just an overall great mask for those who suffer from dull skin. Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Intense Care Snail Hydro-Gel Mask // I love snail masks and this one is a pretty decent one. I prefer the Missha one to be honest. I do think snail masks are amazing for the skin, so if you can get around the fact that is contains snail mucus, then you're good. Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

PURE SMILE Nightmare Art Mask (Sugar Skull) // This is a nice mask and an amazing one to do after something like an all-over face peel. Very hydrating and really made my skin look supple. Cruelty-free status unknown.

Miss Spa Hydrate Facial Sheet Mask // Sheet masks are something that a lot of Western brands don't do, but this brand changes that. I loved how hydrating this is and would definitely recommend. I also love that you can find this in drugstores! Cruelty-free.

Bonvivant Collagen + Olive Botanical Pure Mask // This mask was nice and I liked it, but I feel like this and the one below are more for relaxation. I didn't notice anything really after using them. Wouldn't really go out of my way to get them, but would definitely use them if they ended up in my possession. Cruelty-free status unknown.

Bonvivant Chamomile + Tea Tree Botanical Pure Mask // See above. Cruelty-free status unknown.

nügg Beauty Deep Hydration Face Mask // Now this! This is a super hydrating face mask. I loved this mask and will definitely stock up for the winter time or use after a flight. Cruelty-free.

Que Bella Replenishing Dead Sea Mud Mask // I've had this for quite some time as I usually don't use mud masks. However, I was having some trouble with my skin and was hoping this would help. Nope! Must have had this in my collection too long as this immediately stung the minute I put it on. Whole lot of nope! Cruelty-free.

I've previously reviewed the Skin Food Rice Mask Wash Off. The Make P:rem In-Shower Face Mask and GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment will be reviewed in upcoming #SampleSunday posts.

I just realized there's a mask in this one, so I'll go ahead and talk about it.

Secret Nature Volcanic Ash Pore Pack // I strictly used this on my nose. It was typically a one a week type thing and usually used other masks or eye masks at the same time. I felt like I barely made a dent and the only reason its here is because it expired. My loss! But here's when I first got it (I know, so old!). But to get back to the product, it was a great pore mask and I loved to use it and anything like this on my nose, which is where most of my larger pores are located. Cruelty-free status unknown.

And now back to more traditional skin care products...

Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes // You all know I love this. I've normally used this as a toner, but recently I've been using it to remove makeup. I don't wear heavy makeup, so if you wear many layers (primer, foundation, concealer, powder, etc) then you may notice this isn't as effective.  Cruelty-free.

Wet 'N Wild Under The Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes // Decent wipes. They're incredibly inexpensive and I use these to remove makeup swatches. Because of the price, I'd definitely purchase these over and over.  Cruelty-free.

40 Carrots Carrot+C Vitamin Serum // Another staple to keep my skin radiant. Love this. I always look for it at my local Marshalls, but I've been striking out so I think I need to pay full price now. Not a big deal though. Cruelty-free.

The Face Shop Clean Face Spot Corrector // One of my favorite k-beauty spot corrector/treatments. Love this and I really recommend this. For stubborn spots, I like to combine this with the Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick. Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

I did a review on the Shiseido Ibuki Multi Solution Gel. The Make P:rem Black Cleansing Foam will be reviewed in an upcoming #SampleSunday post.

eos Lavender Jasmine Shave Cream // Yet another one I've emptied. These are handy to get a hold of and work pretty decently. Now that I've used a few, you know what I find annoying? When you get to the last bits and you have to pop open the bottle and get the rest out. It does get difficult to get the last bits out, so if you're not too big on using every last drop, then its not a big deal. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

Pacifica Tunisian Jasmine Line Lotion Wipes // So there's definitely a reason these are discontinued. They're pure shit. I love Pacifica, but these are horrible. They feel like they just put water on your hands. Not even that. Not moisturizing in the least bit. This package was super dried up and I had it at work. But the body lotions/butters? Get those! Cruelty-free.

SugarBaby Espress-O-Glow Coconut & Coffee Stimulating Body Scrub // I liked this, but definitely isn't as amazing as Frank, but I do like this. I loved these scent of this. I mean, coconuts and coffee. Yummy! If you like gritty scrubs, but feel sugar or salt is a bit too aggressive, try a coffee scrub. Cruelty-free.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Foaming Milk & Body Wash // This is a body wash that I shared with my youngest. If you can't tell, we share a love of coconut scented products. I think this is a nice body wash and would definitely recommend it. But I didn't notice any firming or toning action. It was nice in not drying me out though. Cruelty-free.

Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant Sensitive Skin // I had had a reaction to a deodorant and my pits were very unhappy. I've had this happen with a few natural deodorants and when it does, I tend to switch to a spray deo. I do love these and because of that, its hard to switch to a natural deodorant. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

European Wax Center Body Wash // I'm not sure which box I got this in... Maybe Glossybox? I think the purpose of the wash is to stimulate the hair to make it easier to shave. I didn't notice a difference, but it is more of scrub than a traditional wash. Had a nice fruity scent, but I don't know that this particular product is being made anymore. Cruelty-free status unknown.

The Everyday Shea Lavender Body Wash will be reviewed in an upcoming #SampleSunday post.

Suavecita Argan Silkening Serum // Again, another product that the girls mostly used, but I have used it a few times. This is a decent hair oil, but it doesn't feel too moisturizing to be honest. Argan oil is pretty low on the ingredient list, too. I love the scent, but just not the best. I don't think I'll be purchasing this again. Cruelty-free.

Soapberri (Tree To Tub) Soapberry Hair Lather (Organic Soapberry Shampoo) in Relaxing Lavender^ // I've reviewed this and while I love the concept, it just didn't work for me in the long run. I personally prefer the body washes. Cruelty-free.

Biosilk Silk Therapy // I mentioned this in my January Favorites recently. I think its amazing and I think everyone needs to jump on the Biosilk train. I have quite a few hair oils, so once I finish those, I'll be buying quite a few bottles. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

The Living proof. Restore Mask Treatment and Bumble and bumble Grooming Creme will be reviewed in upcoming #SampleSunday posts.

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash // Discovered this clearing out my bathroom. I really liked when I used this, but I wasn't able to finish the bottle. Mostly because I was bad about remembering to use mouthwash. I'm better about it now, but that was after this long expired. I've not tried other natural mouthwashes, so I can't compare it to anything. However, I would be down to buy/try this again. Cruelty-free.

Material Girl Flirty Fruit Body Spray // This smelled nice and I always used it when I was at home or had the day off. Took me some time to use, but it really did smell good and work good. Scent didn't last all day, but it lasted a good amount. Would I buy this particular one again? Ehh, I think I'd like to try other body sprays. Maybe ones that aren't so... teeny-bopper. You know? Cruelty-free status unknown.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm SPF 20 // This is discontinued, but the successor is the Naked Skin One & Done. I'm actually sad this is gone because I really did like this a whole lot. I'm a fan of Western BB creams because they're much lighter in texture than K-Beauty ones. I think I should just preface that I really like tinted moisturizers in general. Back to the product, I think this was more of a CC cream than anything else really. Loved the way this made my skin look. I guess I'll just have to try the One & Done now! Hopefully its the same. Cruelty-free.

Pür Minerals CC Cream SPF 40 in Medium // I loved this! I think this is something I'd use if I want to have higher coverage, because I know that's what I initially used it for. Just like the mouthwash, I found this buried when I was cleaning the bathroom. I have new storage for my makeup and uncovered this little one in the process. Want to know how old this is? I received it in my July '13 Birchbox. Yikes! Cruelty-free.

Tom Ford Orchid Soleil Eau de Parfum // My. Favorite. Scent. Of. All. Time. I really don't know what else to say. I almost went home from Las Vegas with a bottle, but after spending money on some other Tom Ford cosmetics, I decided I'd skip... This time. This scent is white floral and not something I generally veer towards, but oh my god... Love, love, love it! Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mascara in Supernova (Black) // My favorite mascara from Pacifica. Maybe even in general. I love how long and full it made my lashes. I wish it got more attention than the current Dream Big mascara (PS, not a fan of that). Cruelty-free.

Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist w/ Rosemary SPF 50 // I did not like this at all. I think perhaps the sample size ruined this for me because the spray nozzle just shot out clumps of the product rather than mist it on me. I also didn't like the way it felt; almost film-like. Overall bad news. Cruelty-free.

The Paula's Choice RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 will be reviewed in an upcoming #SampleSunday post.

And that's everything! Oh my gosh, that was a ton! I don't think I've had that heavy of an #Empties post in quite some time! From all of that, what do you think? Any thoughts on any of these products? Also, if you have any recommendations, please share those too!
