#Empties / November 2016

Howdy all! Hope everyone is doing well! Today I'll be sharing my November Empties! I meant to share this one yesterday, however I'll be honest... I was pretty busy lounging on the couch Monday. Professional lazy butt day. I mean, I did take photos, but that was the most I felt like doing. (haha... oh man...)

Anyways, let's get to it!

Skin Food Egg White Peel-off Nose Pack // I had been meaning to try more K-beauty products, namely more pore/blackhead products. So on a trip to Ulta, I found this pack of various peel-off packs. I've only used the nose ones, but I will tell you about my first experience. I will say I think this can be slightly painful if peeled off too late, but it otherwise works very well! Am definitely looking forward to use the rest of these! Just not leaving them on too long (lol). Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

TONYMOLY Pomegranate I'm Real Elasticity Mask Sheet // I just love the I'm Real line. I could seriously just stock up on these masks and nothing else. However the product junkie in me needs to try more. I love this mask and feel that it's my third/fourth favorite in the line. Not to put this down at all, again, as I love the whole I'm Real line. Cruelty-free status unknown.

Body Prescriptions Make Up Removing Wipes // This was the last pack of these makeup wipes that I had. I really do think these are awesome for the price. If you can find these anywhere (I found mine at Marshalls), snag them. They really do remove makeup well and are so handy for lip product application on-the-go as well as for travel. I ended up keeping a few packs at work in case I needed to clean up or touch up. Cruelty-free.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner // I've said this before, but I really do love this toner. I definitely think its my summer/warmer months toner. Also, I do stock up on this. I just love it so much. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser // So I'll go ahead and give my thoughts on this cleanser. I may do a more thorough Sample Sunday post on it, but I really need to say that I absolutely loved this cleanser. It bothers me since its only a cleanser and is rather pricey, but it felt so soft and creamy on my skin. It made my skin feel super clean, but soft, too! Ahh! It was just so luxurious. Definitely loved it dearly and I may need another travel size. Cruelty-free.

Soapberri (Tree To Tub) Soapberry Body Lather in Unscented and Awakening Peppermint^ // I wrote a review on these already, and I really do like these body washes. I think they do remind me of Dr. Bonner's, but that's not a bad thing. I prefer the peppermint scent myself and would love to see them create more scents in the future. Definitely suggest these! Cruelty-free.

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter // If there's ever a scented body butter to check out, its these from Pacifica. I love the coconut scent and would definitely stock up on these. I wish they'd make an unscented version for my girls to use, but oh well. These definitely do a great job of keeping the skin moisturized and I didn't feel itchy or dry during the day when I was using this. Cruelty-free.

ILLUME Go Be Lovely Desert Tulip Bar Soap // Just like last month's Empties, I bought this at Marshalls. I think I prefer the Anemone scent, but this is nice too. Just an average soap and an example of cute packaging sucking me in. Cruelty-free.

Nature Love Lemongrass Natural Deodorant // I really wanted to love this deodorant. I've been wanting to go back to a stick deodorant as I really dislike sticking my fingers in pots just to rub it on my pits. Anyways, I noticed that after a couple of weeks of use, I developed horrible rashes on both pits. I stopped using and when I was practically healed, I tried it again and the rash occurred again. Yep, this was the culprit and I stopped using it. Bummer, since I felt it was doing a great job at keeping me smelling good. Cruelty-free.

Skin Food Lime Curl Up Essence Wax // I got this in one of my many RoseRoseShop hauls. I was mainly in search of some random K-Beauty hair products and then I stumbled across this. I can't tell you how much I love this. The name is a little deceiving in that it isn't wax or heavy at all. It feels like any other curl cream, but it was not only lightweight, but didn't make my hair crunchy or gross feeling. It does bring out your curls and smells just like limes. I'll definitely need to buy this again! Cruelty-free status unknown; sells in China.

St. Tropica Organic Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask* // Can you believe this is the first hot oil mask I've ever used? And while I can't say it was the best of the best, I really did like this! I remember when I found this, I remember someone (it was Morgan from The Beauty Breakdown) online mentioned these particular masks. So I decided to snag one and tried it. I really loved how it made my hair feel and I definitely feel like it reversed (for a short time) some damage. I think I'll need to stock up on these and see how prolonged use of these help out. Cruelty-free.

Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo^ & Conditioner^ // I got this in my Inflluenster BlushVoxBox '16 box. I finally got a chance to finish them and I've been pleasantly surprised by this line. It smelled amazing and made my hair feel really good. I've been changing my mind about some drugstore hair products, which my wallet thinks is great! Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

L'Oreal Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo*^ // I got this from L'Oreal and will eventually do a review of the set as a whole, however just note that I really didn't care too much for the shampoo. Not because it was bad, but because it just didn't suit my hair type. So my oldest daughter used this up instead. She had thick, straight hair and it worked great for her. As you know, she got her hair cut really short and recently has been dying her hair. Because of this, I wouldn't go out an purchase this on my own, but I have been purchasing the color-treated line instead. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

Bee Natural Shampoo // I bought this on our PA/NY vacation in the Reading Terminal Market. I didn't want to try to bring home a fragile candle, so I picked up the shampoo. The scent is amazing and it did cleanse my hair, however I did feel at times that it could be too stripping. I think for those with normal, non-damaged hair, this is perfect. If you happen to stop by the Reading Terminal Market, pick it up!

100% Pure Maracuja Oil Mascara in Black Tea // I got this mascara in my Petit Vour x Leaping Bunny Limited Edition V box, back in August '15, but posted about in November '15. I have to say, this was my all time favorite mascara for quite some time. I also believe this is one that gets better with age. I wasn't a huge of a fan at first, but after a while, the formula thickened and it became a wonderful volumizing and lengthening mascara. Simply love this as it is such a great option for those looking for a cruelty-free and vegan option. Cruelty-free.

MSC Skin Care Lavender & Spearmint Nourishing Lip Cream // I received this in my March '15 Petit Vour box and it did take me the longest time to use up. I had it as my office desk lip balm and I would say it took about 6 months to finally use up. I don't think the formula was amazing, but it didn't dry out my lips any further. So while it provided no extra hydration, it didn't do anything terrible either. As I've mentioned before in my previous empties, MSC is not longer in business. Cruelty-free.

fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 in Rose // I'm always so bummed when I run out of these lip balms. They're the perfect travel lip color and keep my lips nicely hydrated. I've been trying other colors and I have to say, none quite compare to this one. This one is simply perfect in every aspect. Nice pigment payoff even though it's sheer, hydrates lips nicely and overall feels great. Cruelty-free, except where required by law.

Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel // Thoughts are still the same as last month's. I don't think I'd go out of my way for this as I have other washes that I use for my brushes, but this was nice and did the job well. Cruelty-free.

Crown Brush Oil Control Blotting Paper // I bought a large pack of these while they were on Hautelook. I mean really, its blotting paper and I don't really mind where I get my blotting paper from as long as its a relatively inexpensive product. I felt like these did a good job and this pack actually lasted for quite some time. Would buy again if it came on Hautelook. Cruelty-free.

And that's that! So what do you think about these products? Have you tried any yourself and want to share your thoughts? Share in the comments!

Lastly, there's one last empties post for 2016 and that's for December. Expect that before any other 2017 posts. Additionally, I'll be doing a yearly favorites sharing one of two products from each category. See you tomorrow! (I need to finish up the last two posts quickly!)
