Studio Gear Cosmetics mpactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara Invisible Gel Liner #31 Invisible Liner Brush

Happy Friday everyone! Today's post is something that has been something I've wanted to share more of. As you can see, its makeup! I've been wanting to incorporate more makeup on the blog for some time. So hopefully, we'll see more after this!

Today we'll talking about some goodies sent to me from Studio Gear Cosmetics. I've used Studio Gear in the past, in fact one of my favorite bases is their CC cream! However today we've got some eye products to talk about. They are the Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara, the Invisible Gel Liner and the #31 Invisible Liner Brush. Let's first talk a bit about the brand and then we'll move on to the products.

So for some basics, Studio Gear states they were created with professional makeup artists in mind with high performance pigments and professional grade formulas. Per Studio Gear's website, they are cruelty-free, except do testing where required by law. For most people this means the brand isn't cruelty-free at all. However, I do like to state their specific stance.

So without further ado, let's jump into the review! We'll start with the liner, then move on to the brush and then the mascara.

Studio Gear Cosmetics Invisible Gel Liner Invisible Earth

Above is the Invisible Gel Liner in Invisible Earth ($16US). As you can see, Invisible Earth is a deep brown. The product is very thick and creamy, however comes off nicely with makeup remover. I've used for about a week and a half and it has made it's way in makeup looks that have been posted to my Instagram (here and here). I've used it for about a week straight and I think this is a very nice liner. It doesn't budge while on bare skin or on top of shadows, too! For the record, I have oily lids and some liners just don't work for me, but this did. Application was nice because of the formula and I didn't find this getting clumpy at all. Below is a picture of a swatch of the liner. I would say if you're in need of doing a dark smokey eye, you could use this as a base, too! Or maybe to fill in brows? I think this would work for both nicely.

Now on to the brush!

Studio Gear Cosmetics #31 Invisible Liner Brush

Above is the #31 Invisible Liner Brush ($18US). Now, I was a bit skeptical about using this as a liner brush due to the rounded tip, however, this brush is absolutely amazing. I think by far the best liner brush I've used. The bristles are beyond soft and allow the liner to glide with ease. I used this every single time I applied my liner and I didn't have a single issue. Now I don't think I'm anywhere near a pro at applying gel liner, but this certainly made me feel like one. Achieving a flick was so simple as this rested in my hand nicely. In case you're wondering, the bristles are synthetic.

And lastly, the mascara.

Studio Gear Cosmetics Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara

Above is the Impactfull Pro T.L.S. Mascara ($18US). Studio Gear claims that this mascara Thickens, Lengthens and Separates (you know, the T.L.S.). Above is the wand and its a fairly typical wand. I do prefer these types of wands as opposed to the plastic, spikey ones. I've worn this on its own and under other mascaras and I have to say, this one is a tricky one. I like this as an everyday mascara, you know, the kind that just makes your lashes look a little better than they normally would. But I don't think this would be my go-to glam mascara. I feel it really only lengthens. When I try to add more layers, I feel this just doesn't add much more. On the positive side, this doesn't flake at all nor does it seem to weigh lashes down throughout the day.

Overall, I think the real winners are the liner brush and gel liner. I think the mascara is decent, but I've gotten a similar effect from mascaras from other, less expensive brands.

What do you think? Is this enough to make you want to try Studio Gear Cosmetics? Or are you willing to pass? Let me know in the comments! Also, if you want to do some shopping, use the code SGEYES for 10% off your order!
