NeoStrata Active Skin Intensive Eye Therapy

Hope you're all doing well! Today's post is a review of the NeoStrata Active Skin Intensive Eye Therapy. This eye cream is said to make eyes appear more younger by boosting collagen production, evening out skin tone and deflating puffiness to the eye, thus making your eyes look more youthful. After using this for a week, did this do what it claimed? Let's start off by reviewing the ingredients of this cream.

Below are the ingredients from CosDNA:
Aqua, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Cyclohexasiloxane, Nylon-12, Silica, Octyldodecyl Stearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caffeine, Butylene Glycol, Lecithin, Isohexadecane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol, Polysorbate 40, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polysorbate 60, Citric Acid, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Isostearic Acid, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Xanthan Gum, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Caramel, CI 19140, Malus Domestica (Apple) Fruit Cell Culture Extract

A majority of these ingredients are completely safe and aren't known irritants (unless you're allergic). This product is smooth to the touch and absorbs fairly quickly. This doesn't have a particularly strong scent, but it is slightly fruity. It's super soft to the touch and absorbs extremely quick. I definitely didn't notice this irritating the eye area, so that's a bonus. I feel my under eye area can be very dry, so this was nice and soothing.

"Well, the above is nice and all, but how did it do in its claims?" It's nice that you ask that. Let's talk about it. So first off, if you're looking to cover or reduce the size of your under eye circles, you're really out of luck. No beauty product will really be able to do this. At least I've never come across this. What this did do was reduce the puffiness of my under eyes. That in itself makes you look more awake. As far as wrinkles, I think only time will tell. We'll have to revisit this product once its in an empties post.

Overall, this is certainly a nice, hydrating under eye cream. The only down side to this product? The price. I was provided the 0.35oz size which is worth about $55.30 as the full size contains .50oz and retails for $79. In reality, the product lasts a really long time, but is it worth it? Again, I think I'll have to revisit this question once I've finished the product. Just keep in mind that similar products contain close to or more than double the product for the same price.
